Top 3 – Political uncertainty, Peak weather volatility, Growing in Canada

Top 3 – Things to Watch this week:

1. The political situation globally is of major concern. This will cause extreme market uncertainty as nobody knows the outcome. Protests in Holland and Sir Lanka, apparently there is a bank run going on in China.

2. Entering peak weather volatility time. Winter Wheat harvest is progressing nicely, but yields are below average. Corn is entering a more critical stages which means market volatility will be increases.

3. Growing conditions in much of Canada is very good. looks like normal July temperatures are coming.

Canola has rallied back above the $850/mt on the nov futures.  If you don’t have sales on the books now is the time to put in some targets for about $20.
